Delivering Hope Through Service, Partnership, and Community Impact
After a successful launch in 2025, Light Orlando is excited to continue its Summer of Service campaign in 2026. The Summer of Service campaign brings together individuals, churches, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders across Central Florida to make a meaningful difference each summer.

Last summer, our inaugural Summer of Service campaign highlighted the incredible work of our partner organizations, shared volunteer opportunities throughout the region, and connected community members with impactful ways to serve. In addition to amplifying the work of our partners, Light Orlando hosted its own events, Lunch & Learns, and collaborative service initiatives that encouraged people to engage, learn, and take action.
As we enter our second year, we are building on that momentum and inviting even more people to join us in creating a season of hope and service.
What is Summer of Service?

Summer of Service is Light Orlando’s annual community engagement campaign designed to inspire volunteerism, strengthen partnerships, and spotlight organizations making a difference throughout Central Florida.
At Light Orlando, we believe that when people come together around a shared purpose, their collective impact can transform communities. Summer of Service serves as a platform to connect people with opportunities to serve while celebrating the organizations and individuals already making an impact every day.
Through storytelling, volunteer opportunities, educational events, and community partnerships, the campaign helps shine a light on the power of service and the importance of working together for the greater good.
