Drop-Off Locations: 2026 Light Orlando Clothing Drive

Updated: Mar 27

Light Orlando 5th Annual Community Clothing Closet Clean Out

For the past five years, the Central Florida community has come together in a powerful way through the Light Orlando Community Clothing Closet Clean Out. What began as a simple call to serve has grown into a remarkable movement of generosity.

Together, our community has collected and distributed nearly 250,000 new and gently used clothing items to more than 50 charitable organizations serving individuals and families in need throughout Central Florida. This effort is a testament to the power of collaboration. When we unite our lights, we create a beacon of hope for all to see.

This year, we are once again inviting businesses, churches, organizations, and community spaces to join us by serving as clothing drop-off locations.

How to Become a Drop-Off Location

Organizations across Central Florida play a vital role in making this initiative possible. If your organization would like to help Light Orlando make a tangible difference in the community by serving as a collection site, we invite you to participate.

Simply complete the online form to sign up as a drop-off location, and a member of our team will follow up with more information and next steps.

Ideal Drop-Off Location Types

Many different types of organizations can successfully host a clothing collection site, including:

  • Offices, workspaces, or office lobbies

  • Local businesses such as coffee shops, gyms, yoga studios, and community centers

  • Libraries

  • Neighborhood clubhouses

  • Churches or houses of worship

  • Retail stores

  • Other charitable organizations

Benefits of Becoming a Drop-Off Location

Hosting a clothing drive is a simple yet meaningful way to serve the community while engaging those around you.

Increased Visibility: Hosting a drive can raise awareness of your organization while highlighting the charitable efforts taking place throughout the community.

Community Support: Your participation helps provide essential clothing to local charities and organizations serving individuals and families in need.

Social Impact: Serving as a drop-off location demonstrates your organization’s commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of the Central Florida community.
